   Phillip Lawler is President & CEO of Smoothstone Construction & Consulting, Inc. The success of Smoothstone Construction & Consulting, Inc. has its roots in Phillip Lawler’s personal vision of business integrity. From humble beginnings, Phillip Lawler established himself as a leader in the construction industry where he brings professionalism & integrity to the Homeowner Associations of Southern California.
  Phillip began his career in Homeowner Association related construction in 1996 working as a carpenter where he learned the construction trades from the ground up. His experiences quickly expanded into the business aspects of the construction industry, and over the past 14 years he has held titles such as Construction consultant & Director of Construction Services for some of the leading Construction & Construction Management firms in Southern California. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management Degree from La Salle University and is a California State Licensed General Contractor.
  In 2006 he formed Smoothstone Construction & Consulting, Inc. and has not looked back since. As a licensed contractor with the State of California, Phillip has been utilized as an expert witness in construction dispute cases as well as an expert in Construction Defect Litigation. This is where Phillip saw firsthand how many Construction Companies in the industry were doing things the wrong way. It was then that he promised himself to take a much different approach. He vowed that honesty was the best policy and should be the foundation of a successful organization, especially one dedicated to the construction of someone’s home.
